The TV show "The Tick" was on FOX television for only a couple months featured Liz Vassey as Captain Liberty. This quirky comedy is mediocre but Liz looks SO sexy in her superheroine costume, cape and tights! The show is worth watching for her alone. Liz Vassey was born in Raleigh, North Carolina and raised in Tampa, Florida. She began acting at the age of nine when she played the title role of "Oliver" in the musical of the same name. She moved to New York at the age of sixteen to start work on "All My Children" (1970). She starred in 40 regional theatre productions by the time she was 16. At the age of 17, she landed the role of Emily Ann Sago on the daytime drama "All My Children." During that time, she received an Emmy nomination as Outstanding Juvenile Female. Liz now resides in Los Angeles.

Her most recent television credits include roles in "The Tick" and Maximum Bob," as well as recurring roles on "ER" and "Dream On." She has guest-starred on "Dawson's Creek," "Dharma & Greg," "Home Improvement," Early Edition," "Diagnosis Murder," "Married with Children," "Cheers" and "Wings." MOWS include "The Secrets of Lake Success" and "Sad Inheritance."
